The Artist

Originally from the Hunter Valley wine country of New South Wales and now based on the Sunshine Coast, artist Sally Moffat began her artistic journey back in 2017 following a life-altering diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.

What started as a form of therapy to rebuild her fine motor skills soon evolved into a profound creative calling.

During a severe MS Flare that simultaneously affected her vision, mobility, balance, speech, and cognition, Sally faced one of her greatest personal challenges - the inability to embrace her young son. In that moment, she set herself a goal -to hold him in her arms again.

With quiet determination, she turned to art as a path to healing. Each deliberate brush stroke helped strengthen her body, mind, and spirit. Days became weeks, weeks became years- and with every design painted, her strength returned.

Not only did she achieve her goal through creativity, but in the process Sally emerged as a singular voice in Australian glass artistry. Her hand-painted designs are created on premium, lead-free crystalline glassware, with each artwork carefully oven-cured to enhance durability and make it suitable for gentle dishwasher use while preserving vibrant colour. Professionally gift-boxed and thoughtfully designed, every piece balances refined elegance with functional durability for everyday use.
